Wildfires Cause Considerable Damage in Hidden Springs
Here is a map showing Hidden Springs Resort and the area affected by the fires. An interactive map can be found www.seviercountytn.gov.
Update as of 6:30 PM EST 11/29/2016 -- Several wildfires continue to burn or smolder within the resort and firefighters have again asked everyone to leave the resort for the night. We have lost 26 cabins, most on Morning Star and Star Crest. All owners who have lost cabins have been notified. We also lost the old water building on Star Crest. Some cabins have lost electricity, water and or sewer service. Many roads are also impassable because of fire or wind damage.
The Board and Sentry Management are continuing to assess the situation. More information will be posted as available. This is a very fluid situation and things may change quickly.

Update as of 9:30 AM EST 11/30/2016 -- The resort received a soaking rain overnight. At this point all the fires in the resort are out. Fire damage is isolated to the Morning Star and Star Crest areas. All the paved roads are open. Owners wanting information concerning their specific cabin should have their rental management company or cleaning company check on it. Our HOA employees are handling issues related to the resort's common areas, roads, utilities, etc. They are not providing information relative to specific cabins.
Update as of 11:00 AM EST 12/01/2016 -- We are experiencing intermittent power outages at some cabins in the resort. Otherwise, everything else seems to be OK.
Update as of 3:00 PM EST 12/01/2016 -- We actually lost only 23 cabins, rather than the 26 originally thought. Two of the cabins were near our resort, but not actually a part of it. There were also two lots that were burned, but did not have nay construction.
